This nice Full Mud Crab was pulled up by Griffin from Springwood Brisbane aboard Last Sundays Fishing and Crabbing Adventure Trip.
The water is starting to clear up throughout the river.
Bream are still amongst the river in numbers in your deeper holes of the river and around structures. The preferred baits for bream include prawns and yabbies. Flathead have been around the Munna Point area with bait fish and lures being the best forms of fishing. There has been reports of mangrove jack at the early hours of the morning around the Woods Bay area with mullet stips and live bait fish. There has been trevally and the odd yellowtail kingfish at the Noosa Sound mainly around structures such as the Sound bridge. It could be worth while dropping in a few crab pots as there are still some nice mud crabs around that are nice and full. Mud crabs have been showing up towards Lake Cooroibah Now that the showers have stopped and a clear week is forecasted there isn’t a better time to get outside cook a barbeque and drop a line.
Until next week good luck from the boys at O Boats.

Due to all of the rain, the Noosa River is starting to turn back to a dirty brown colour. With the winter months here, the bream are on the bite. Some good size bream are being caught around the deeper holes and structures of the river, with prawns and mullet strips being the preferred baits. A few tailor are starting to appear around the Noosa rivermouth and Woods bay mainly caught on pilchards and lures. It’s still worth while throwing a line in around the shallows of the sand banks towards the rivermouth, for there are still a few whiting around, preferably using live baits such as yabbies and worms. The crabbing has been on a path for the better especially with the dirtier water around. From Tewantin down towards the first lake there has been numerous reports of mud crabs being caught. There are a few showers forecasted over the next week, although a fine weekend ahead. With the dirtier water about there is no better time to drop a line and throw a pot out.
Until next week good luck from the boys at O Boats.

Jess and Abby caught and released multiple mud crabs along the stretch from the Yacht Club up to the ski run near the Tewantin Marina.
The Noosa River has produced some great fish over the past week. Bream and whiting have been caught around the frying pan and sand bags near the Noosa dog beach, with live worms and yabbies being the preferred baits. There is also still reports of whiting up towards the first lake.
