Free buses: Leave the car behind and get on a FREE holiday bus in the Noosa Shire from Boxing Day, 26 Dec to Sun 4 Jan. There’s also a free shuttle bus from Peregian Beach to Noosa Heads
New Year’s Eve: From fireworks to festive dinners, celebrate the New Year in Noosa! See our Festive Season Guide above for where to dine and party. Fireworks are at Noosa Marina, Parkyn Court, Tewantin at 9pm and midnight, with He Ain’t Heavy live on the boardwalk from 7.30pm. There are great vantage points along the Noosa River foreshore. Also fireworks at Tickle Park Coolum at 8pm and midnight – the event starts at 6pm with sausage sizzle and rides – free entry
