Mother and daughter Karen and Annaliese caught these couple of nice bream on Mondays half day charter aboard Noosa Fishing and Crab Adventures.
The water is starting to clear up on the run in tide after the rain a week ago. The rivermouth has been the best area this week with some great bream, trevally and flathead to 65cm on lures and soft plastics.Woods bay has seen some nice trevally on surface poppers and live bait. Weyba creek has been good for whiting on live worms and yabbies. The Noosaville reaches up to the marina have produced whiting, bream, Flathead and grunter bream. Up river around Lake Cooroibah is still seeing a few mud crabs so drop a few pots out to try and get a feed. There are alot of catfish up in the fresh water around the lakes. To identify them they have whiskers protruding from the area around the mouth. Catfish stings cause severe pain and inflammation at the site of the sting so be careful when handling them.
Until next week good luck from the boys at O Boats.
