Heading into Christmas the river has been throwing up some fantastic fishing conditions with plenty of Bream, Flathead, and Trevally being caught. There’s been plenty of Grunter Bream caught this week with the edges of Goat Island and the river mouth being the hotspots and prawns and worms being the best bait. Some good size Flathead have been hanging around the Ferry crossing and Makepeace Island. While Golden Trevally have been around the River Mouth and Noosa Sound areas, mostly on the high tide. The next week should bring great fishing conditions with warm and sunny weather. We hope you have a Merry Christmas and catch plenty of fish over the holidays.
Until next week, good luck from the boys at O Boats
