Great Fun, Great Food, Great Adventure... a Great Day!!!

Noosa River Weekly Fishing Report

Fishing on a recent adventure tour this week, Ryan from Melbourne was stoked to land this nice 60cm flattie to make his holiday.

There are still lots of bream about throughout and most active. As well inside the river mouth a few trevally, flathead and the odd luderick caught off the rock wall. The Frying Pan has seen some whiting coming back and the Woods Bay is worth a try for some golden trevally, bream and flathead and the odd tailor.

There are a few trevally off Munna Point and the odd jack found after dark at the back of the Noosa Sound. Also from Tewantin to Lake Cooroibah is fishing well for bream and flathead mainly and best results are on peeled prawns or fresh mullet strips. Stick to the deeper holes and murky water as in the clear waters the fish are acting very timid and cautious.

The run out tide seems to be fishing best and if you can get some live bait fish your chances will increase.

There are still a few sand crabs and the odd muddy about if you want to drop in a pot or two and get yourself a feed of crabs.

Another perfect sunny week ahead with only a possible shower late Sunday and calm, warm days to enjoy a perfect days fishing on Noosa River.

Until next week good luck from the guys at Noosa Fishing and Crab Adventures.
