Welcome to Noosa, with its beautiful natural surrounds, cosmopolitan atmosphere and vibrant calendar of events! If you’re looking for something to do during your holidays, we’ve put together some ideas for you.

Anzac centenary: Dawn services and Anzac Day parades will be held around Noosa this Sat 25 April, including a special dawn service tribute on Noosa Main Beach. A Gallipoli landing tribute at 4.30am in front of Noosa Surf Club will be followed by a service. Courtesy buses from Noosa Junction Transit Centre to Hastings Street from 4am, returning 5.30am. Noosa Heads Lions Park open for car parking 3.30-730am. Dawn services will also be held at the Cooroy cenotaph at 4.55am, Coolum cenotaph at 5.20am and Verrierdale Hall at 6am. The main parade steps off from Sidoni St, Tewantin at 9am with riders from the Australian Light Horse Brigade, NZ Veterans Band and a warbird flyover. The Cooroy memorial service is in Memorial Hall, Maple St at 11.15am. The Eumundi commemorative walk leaves Caplick Park, Memorial Drive at 7.30am. The Yandina service is at 11am. More Anzac: The Anzac Centenary Troop Train will be at Cooroy Railway Station on Fri 24 April, 11am-1pm with a re-enactment and wreath laying. Tinbeerwah Art Group Anzac Exhibition is in Tewantin CWA Hall, Poinciana Ave, 10am-4pm to 25 April. NZ Veterans Band performs in Memorial Ave, Tewantin on Anzac Day from 11am
