This week the river has shown some decent fishing conditions with Whiting, Flathead, Bream and Trevally being caught in parts of the river. Flathead have been caught mostly up river with the entrance to Lake Doonella and around the Marina and Sheep Island being the best spots. Big size Bream of up to 52cm have been caught under structures such as the Sheraton and Munna bridges. Whiting have been best found around the River mouth and Frying pan in the early morning and late afternoon. While some Golden Trevally have been around in the Noosa Sound and canal areas. The next week promises to bring some great sunny weather and ideal fishing conditions.
Until next week, good luck from the boys at O Boats
