Nemci from Brisbane went out on the Noosa Fishing and Crab Adventure tour and had a fabulous day catching flathead, bream, diamond trevally and more.
The conditions have been superb with only the odd shower about and plenty of good fish to be had. The river mouth and Frying Pan have produced trevally and nice sized flathead with an odd school jew about too.
There are trevally the odd tailor in Woods Bay and flathead, whiting and estuary cod in Weyba Creek and some good bream around jetties in Noosa Sound.
From Munna Point through the Noosaville stretches whiting can be had on the sand flats and nice bream in the gutters caught on mullet strips.
School jew are active before the ferry and ski run on live baits and try Lake Cooroibah for flathead, whiting and some trevally are on the bite.
Both tides are active but the change of tides are fishing slow an hour or so each side and try lures, soft plastics and live bait if available. Prawns and live worms are good for your bream, whiting and flathead as are mullet strips.
The blue swimmers are still plentiful in the Woods Bay and Weyba Creek areas with a few good muddies still about.
Mainly just cloudy this week with the possibility of a few showers developing this Sunday but all in all another great week to enjoy a spot of fishing.
Until next week good fishing from the guys at Noosa Fishing and Crab Adventures.
