Another great week of fishing as both Mammy from Japan and Fanny from Hong Kong had a great day out on #NoosaFishingandCrabAdventures fishing #NoosaRiver.
There has been good numbers of bream, flathead and whiting caught throughout most of the Noosa River with hot spots been the Frying Pan, river mouth, Woods Bay, Noosaville reaches and Noosa Marina.
Woods Point was also producing trevally and some odd tailor and up before the car ferry and Lake Cooroibah a few school jew and large threadfin salmon.
Large whiting are on the sand flats and best results are with live worms or yabbies. Bream seem to be active on whole prawns and mullet strips as are flathead and lures or plastics are worth a go for trevally, jew and salmon.
After sundown seems best for larger predators such as jew and trevally and you may pick up the odd mangrove jack as well.
Both tides are fishing well however if had choice I would favour the run out tide close to the bottom. With the recent rains we have not seen a flood of muddies come down however it’s still worthwhile dropping in a pot.
It looks a great week of weather ahead with maybe a shower early next week so get dad out on the water for father’s day and have a dabble.
Until next week good luck from the boys at #NoosaFishingandCrab
