It has been a great week for some nice fish in the Noosa River. Tailor are back, with several being caught up and around the river mouth, mainly on lures and pilchards. Bream and trevally are around in numbers amongst the deeper parts of the river in places like Woods bay, with mullet strips and prawns being the preferred bait. The mouth of Lake Cooroibah has been a popular spot for flathead with a variety of sizes being caught up to 65cm. The best bait for the lake is live herring as well as soft plastics. Fishing has been popular up and around the cable ferry crossing just off to the side of the shallows with grunter bream and flathead being caught. Chances of a few showers around during the week, although being fine for the weekend.

Until next week good luck from the boys at O Boats.
