Noosa River Weekly Fishing Report

Bream as always are about in deeper holes and structures such as the Noosa Sound Bridge and Woods bay. When targeting bream your best to use prawns however they are known to eat just about anything. The Noosa river mouth has been a popular spot with a range of great fish such as tailor, bream, trevally and jewfish caught on the top of the tide. Moving down the river more, whiting have been on the chew surrounding areas such as the boathouse and Tewantin. Live baits are key, with worms being the highlight bait. The stretch from Tewantin through to the ferry has been catching some great size flathead. Flathead tend to like soft plastics and prawns. The weather is tipped to be great this week, with slight to no winds and the sun out. There’s no better time to get amongst the waterways.

Until next week good luck from the boys at O Boats.
