Crystal had the best day fishing and crabbing on a recent tour when up from Geelong. She took the honors with a nice trevally.
The overcast conditions has seen a top week of fishing with good numbers of flathead and whiting from Munna Beach through to Tewantin marina. Opposite Weyba Rd crn and Gympie Tce. is especially good as is just inside the river mouth on the north side.
There are still a few mangrove jacks between the top lakes in among the mangroves and plenty of grunter bream on the southern entrance of Lake Cooroibah. Both tides are fishing well but avoid the low tide change and try worms and yabbies for whiting and live bait and lures for flatties and jacks.
The weather looks fantastic during the week with an odd shower forecast for Sunday and Monday so get out and enjoy.
Until next week good luck from the boys at O Boats.
