Classic cycling: Noosa Strade Bianche Cycling Festival this Sat and Sun 9-10 Aug is for anyone who loves vintage-retro or steel-frame bicycles, cycling history or a unique challenge! There’s a 33km Mini Fondo on Sat from 7am, and 133km Gran Fondo and 89km Medio Fondo on Sun from 7am – all leaving Noosa Marina, Tewantin for the Noosa hinterland. Also free entry to a Show & Shine Swap Meet at the Marina on Sat 11am-3pm with vintage bikes on display and stalls

Gravity sports: See some of Australia’s best in street and classic luge, downhill skateboarding, gravity bike and downhill inline skating at the Noosa ProAm this Sat and Sun 9-10 Aug, Gyndier Dve, Tewantin, 7am-4pm. Practice on Sat and Australian Title racing on Sun. Free for spectators
