With the passing of the full moon the tides are high and the fish are about. There has been lots of decent size trevally in the river caught anywhere from Munna Point all the way down to Tewantin Marina. Flathead have been amongst the river around the sand flats near the river mouth and the frying pan. The best bait for Flathead is prawns and soft plastics. Tailor have also been around the river mouth and woods bay. The best way to target tailor is with a popper at the early hours of the morning and the late afternoon. Whiting have been amongst the river near munna point and the Sound Bridge. When heading up the river there a couple of good spots to catch bream, whiting and Flathead including the ferry crossing and Lake Cooriobah. The best baits for whiting are live baits such as worms and yabbies. The weather is forecasted to be sunny with little chance of rain. Its nice and cool, there is no better time to get out on the Noosa river and wet a line.
Until next week good luck from the boys at O Boats.
